Information inspired from The Piercing Bible by Elayne Angel
Bridge - The Bridge piercing is a horizontal piercing between the eyebrows or most commonly the nasion (area between the eyes). It typically spans from the top of the eyebrows to the bridge of the nose. Though multiple piercings are rare, they can sometimes be done depending on the anatomy. This piercing is generally performed with a 14 or 12 gauge straight barbell, and on rare occasions, a 16 gauge may be used based on anatomy. Jewelry may feature simple or decorative ends. Important Note: Even though the jewelry may be in your line of sight, it won’t cause your eyes to cross. However, there are risks such as a high chance of rejection and scarring. If your anatomy lacks sufficient pliable tissue, a bridge piercing may not be suitable, and visible pitted scars are possible if the piercing is abandoned.

Rings can also be used for the initial piercing, but they will need to be oversized to accommodate proper healing.
